Lycoming County is located in north central Pennsylvania nestled in the Appalachian Mountains and along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. The Williamsport historic district is home to Millionaires' Row, the Rowley House Museum, the brand new Peter Herdic Transportation Museum and the Thomas T. Taber Museum which can all be visited along with an enjoyable ride on the Herdic Trolley. Williamsport is also home to Little League Baseball and every August, we are hosts to thousands of people attending the Little League World Series.
If you can't make it for the World Series, the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum is open daily to groups of all ages. Water and history lovers will enjoy a cruise on the picturesque Susquehanna River aboard the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat. Aboard the Hiawatha you will gain an understanding of the area's importance to the building of our nation during the mid and late 1800's.
